It was great to push, pull and touch all of the hands on exhibits. To finish off we enjoyed the bubbles and balloon show.
Then we headed off for lunch and got to play in a great playground at Stuart Park.
Enjoy the photos of our fun day out in the following two slide shows.

Seesaw Digital Portfolios
Last week class notes were sent home explaining the transition from paper portfolios to digital portfolios.
It has been great to see families linking up to their child's Seesaw account.
Please take the time to download the app (refer to the 2nd page of the handout for instructions) and join the sharing of current work samples and assessments as they are completed in class.
We are also working on the most effective way to share the children's work with you and how to incorporate comments and reflections on their own learning.
Parent's feedback and encouragement will be greatly appreciated.

Guest Speakers Share Their Memories
This term we have been learning about families in our History unit and how our personal stories give us information about the past.
We have enjoyed listening to two 'guest speakers' (grandparents) and their stories of school and growing up and changes in technology particularly telephones!
The 'compulsory' drinking of warm milk at recess that had been left out in the sun was one particular memory that was shared.
Mrs Collins and Mrs Blake were also amazed at the one page student report that Mrs Petty shared with the class. How times have changed!
Thank you to Sandra and Robyn for sharing your memories with Kindergarten.
