News Topics for the Whole Term. Click Here for Term 3 News Topics This term we will be focusing on sounds each week, however; we will not require items to be brought in for the sound table. Homework No spelling/sound booklet this week. Readers as usual. Grandparent's Day will be on Thursday 3 August in Week 2. Please refer to the note when it is placed in the parent portal. Children's Bags When the children arrive at school on Monday morning, they will have a new spot for their bags in the courtyard just outside our Kinder rooms. Ask your child to look for the platypus or kangaroo sign. As we begin a new term could we also remind students to come into school through the gate near the PAC. The office can be quite busy in the mornings and should be only used if the gate is locked after 8:30am. It is also important for students to aim to arrive at school before 8:25am if possible each day. This helps to instil good habits and a calm way to start the day.
Play areas before school We are very excited about the opening of our new playground. On Monday morning children will be allowed to play on the top playground where the covered awning is situated or the lower field near the PAC but not the new sensory playground (the sandpits and logs etc). Groups and Parent Helpers We will be commencing groups next week (week 2).
