Kindy had such fun attending the Year 6 fete. They did so many activities and helped Year 6 raise money of a charity of their choice. Thanks for the fun year 6.

Last few Mystery readers in KC

A little while ago Annabel's mum came as our Mystery reader. She shared 'Where's the Gold' by Pamela Allen with us. What a fun book.

Then last Jessica's Grandma came along and read about one of our favourite characters Pig the Pug.
This time it was the Christmas book 'Pig the Elf' by Aaron Blabey. We had a great giggle.

From Mrs Blake to >> Mrs Thompson

A big hello to everyone!

My name is Mrs Thompson! It has been my absolute pleasure to take on Mrs Blake's role in teaching KB for the remainder of year. So far we have already had so much fun! - planning and practicing our Christmas Play, enjoying our time at Swimming, learning about 'Indigenous Special Places', and writing about Mrs Thompson's favourite topic -> 'Fun in The Sun'. In fact, here are some fun facts about Mrs Thompson that you may not already know:

  • Mrs Thompson graduated from the University of Western Sydney
  • Mrs Thompson was recently married and was previously Miss Vermeer
  • Mrs Thompson is passionate about Jesus and music
  • Mrs Thompson loves her soccer and loves her guitar
  • Mrs Thompson has lived in the United States of America
  • Mrs Thompson loves listening to Christmas music - even when its not Christmas!
  • Mrs Thompson's favourite food is pizza :)

Those who I have not yet met, I am looking forward to meeting in near the future - perhaps at our Christmas Play! If you would like to contact me for any reason, please call the front office for my email address.

Side note: I have been in contact with Mrs Blake! She is doing very well! Her feet are elevated and resting, while her hands are working away at some gorgeous knitting! We are praying for Mrs Blake in class each day. :)

Have a wonderful week everyone!

- Mrs Thompson

"What have Kindergarten been learning?"

Kindergarten have been learning about 'Ordinal Numbers'. We applied it in a real world context by having a running race to see who would come first (1st) second (2nd), third (3rd) and so on (boys vs. boys and girls vs. girls). Some great running from everyone! :)

Looks like some students can run as fast as ''the Flash"!
