Collect items for History Lesson

Dear Parents,
We are looking at how items from our own families can tell us about the past.
Could your child please bring in 3 items from your family that have a story to tell about the past. (if you can't find three, one will be o.k)
Examples could include: mum's old doll, dad's grandfather's watch, medals, old family photo, baby clothes, something handed down from one generation to the next.
Please bring in these items for Tuesday 8 September.
Thanks for your assistance,
Mrs Blake and Mrs Collins

Father's Day Breakfast
A reminder to all our fathers that they are invited to attend a Father's Day breakfast on Friday 4 September. Please check the parent portal for more details.

Operation Christmas Child
Your child should have received a cream note indicating a suggested item that could be purchased to help put together class boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We hope to teach our students the value of giving to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
When the items come to school, we will place them into either a girl box or a boy box. Please remove any packaging around the item. We aim to be able to make up at least six complete class boxes from your generous donations.
Thank you for your assistance in collecting the items needed.
If your family would like to put together a box at home, please ask for a box and we'll send it home with your child.
If you need any further details, click on the link for note below.

Science - Weather in our world

Today in science we were looking at temperature and using the words hot, warm, cool and cold to describe the air we are feeling. We described the air from a hairdryer, our mouth, a paper fan and an electric fan. We had great fun making our own paper fans. Enjoy the pictures.
