Kindergarten 2015 Video for Year 12 Graduatuion

The kindergarten students had the privilege of being interviewed for a video that was shown at the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony in the last week of term. It gives great insight into what they do and don't like about school, and what they might pursue in the future. They are very cute so please enjoy.

Operation Christmas Child

Thanks to all those Kindergarten student and parents who donated items and money to our Operation Christmas Child appeal. We were able to make and give 15 boxes. What a blessing to the children! Thanks everyone.

Science Experiment

Today we concluded our weather unit by testing our 'wind meter' to see where the wind blew the strongest in our playground.
The children had to attach different materials to a coathanger to see how they moved in a variety of situations. It was interesting to find a wind tunnel in the stairwell and the lower field was a good place for a strong wind.
Here are our photos.

Family Artefacts Tuesday 8 September

Just a reminder that we would like the artefacts to come in tomorrow- Tuesday 8 September.

Dear Parents,
We are looking at how items from our own families can tell us about the past.
Could your child please bring in 3 items from your family that have a story to tell about the past. (if you can't find three, one will be o.k)
Examples could include: mum's old doll, dad's grandfather's watch, medals, old family photo, baby clothes, something handed down from one generation to the next.
Please bring in these items for Tuesday 8 September.
Thanks for your assistance,
Mrs Blake and Mrs Collins
